I am primarily a freelance post-production guy and operate Hurley Video along with my wife Monique Hurley who is an FCP editor.

I edit corporate and commecial video projects on Final Cut Pro. I create motion graphics (broadcast design, lower thirds, bumpers) with After Effects, Apple’s Motion and a handful of other specialized tools including Zaxwerks and the unique products from U&I Software. I also do a fair bit of rotoscope and effects work.

I am an Apple Certified Trainer for Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro and Soundtrack Pro. I also teach various classes (editing, compositing and special effects) at San Francisco State University. I have also proctored FCP and Motion classes for FMC Training at NAB Post Production world.

As a contractor for Bexel Broadcast Services, I provide tech support for broadcast clients (including Fox Sports and ESPN/ABC) who are using Final Cut Pro in live event editing suites. I consult with various clients on post-production workflow and can provide customized private training for broadcasters and corporate video departments moving to the Apple workflow (and P2 workflows).
